Concerts In The Park

Beloved by residents, Concerts in the Park is a series of concerts attracting large crowds to Signal Hill Park on Wednesdays in July & August.

Youth & Senior Programs

Bingo, Luncheons, Meals, Valentines, After School Programs, Educational programing, supplemental supplies, and equipment.   Additionally, the foundation provides sponsorship funds for students in need for athletic and after school programs.

Outreach Programs

Serving over 200 families during the holidays, the Signal Hill Community Foundation conducts an outreach program annually providing a meal and partnering with the Signal Hill Police Foundation to provide toys and gifts.

Library Programs

The goal of our Library Capital Campaign is to create a $1 million endowment for ongoing operations and development at the Signal Hill Public Library.  The foundation helps to provide world class programing at the library for our residents and will utilize the endowment for the expanding and changing needs of the library over time. 

Cultural Programs

Founded to build a memorial art piece at the top of Signal Hill to remember those lost on 9/11/2001, the foundation has continued its mission of bringing arts and cultural resources to the city through our programing.  Day of the Dead, African American Art and History,  Artist Receptions & Fundraising.

Signal Hill Events

Throughout the year, the Signal Hill Community Foundation provides sponsorship and resources to events in the city aimed at bringing neighbors together to celebrate our special community.  Favorites include the Annual Hounds on the Hill Event, The Ellen Ward Community Yard Sale, and the Spring Fest.
